In ancient times there was a large kingdom called Prambanan. The people are peaceful. One day when the kingdom of Prambanan was attacked and colonized by the Pengging country, the soldiers were unable to face the attack of the Pengging forces. Finally, the Prambanan kingdom was controlled by Pengging, and was led by Bandung Bondowoso.

King Bandung Bondowoso is a cruel. Bandung Bondowoso is a person who is powerful and has a genie army, Bandung Bondowoso likes to observe Roro Jonggrang, the beautiful daughter of King Prambanan.
The next day, Bandung Bondowoso approached Roro Jonggrang and asked Roro Jonggrang "ould you be my wife?"
Hearing that, Roro Jonggrang became confused. If he refused, Bandung Bondowoso would be furious and endanger his family and the people of Prambanan. But it is also impossible if Roro Jonggrang accepts it, because he does not like Bandung Bondowoso.

Finally, Roro Jonggrang got the idea. "I am willing to be Mr.'s wife, but there are conditions," he said. "What are the conditions? Want abundant assets? Or a magnificent palace? " "That's not it, my lord, said Roro Jonggrang. I ask a temple, the total must one thousands. "A thousand pieces?" Bondowoso shouted. "Yes, and the temple must be finished overnight." Bandung Bondowoso looked at Roro Jonggrang, his lips trembling with anger. Since then Bandung Bondowoso has been thinking about how to make 1,000 temples. Finally he asked his advisor. "I believe my master can make the temple with the help of Jin!", Said the advisor. "Yes, your proposal is correct, prepare the equipment I need!"

After the equipment is prepared. Bandung Bondowoso stands in front of the rock. His arms were spread wide. "Jinn troops, help me!" He shouted in a booming voice. Not long after, the sky darkened. A moment later, the Jinn troops had gathered around Bandung Bondowoso. "What should we do, sir?" Asked the genie leader. "Help me build a thousand temples," Bandung Bondowoso demanded. The jins immediately carry out their respective duties. In a short period of time the building of the temple has been arranged almost reaching a thousand pieces.

Meanwhile, Roro Jonggrang observed from a distance. He was worried, knowing Bondowoso was assisted by Jinn troops. Roro Jonggrang is looking for a way. The royal servants were told to gather and were tasked with collecting straw. "Quickly burn all the straw!" Ordered Roro Jonggrang. Some of the other servants were told to pound the mortar. Dung ... dung ... dung!
"Wow, the sun will come out soon!" Said Jin. "We must leave immediately before our bodies are burned by the sun," said another genie. The genies began to leave the place.

The next morning, Bandung Bondowoso invited Roro Jonggrang to the temple site. "The temple you requested has stood!" Roro Jonggrang immediately counted the number of temples. It turns out that there are only 999! "The number is less than one! Roro Jonggrang said. "Means the master has failed to fulfill the conditions that I submitted." Bandung Bondowoso was surprised to find out the shortcomings. Bandung Bondowoso does not believe. "It's impossible ...", said Bondowoso, staring sharply at Roro Jonggrang. "Then you just complete it!" He said, pointing his finger at Roro Jonggrang. Suddenly Roro Jonggrang immediately turned into a stone statue. Until now these temples still exist and are located in the Prambanan region, Central Java and are called the Roro Jonggrang Temple.

After the man promised, they were both married.

A year later, they were blessed with a son whom they named Samosir. The child was very spoiled by her mother, which made the child lazy.

The legend of "Pulo Kemaro"

Assalamu'alaikum Wr. Wb.

Hello everyone..😀

In this my blog I will post the legend of Pulo Kemaro. If you never read, let's read yess.

Once in the area of South Sumatra, there was a king in the Kingdom of Srivijaya. The king has a beautiful daughter named Siti Fatimah. Besides being beautiful, he also has good character. The way he spoke softly reflected the nature of a king's daughter. Her beauty and kindness amazed young people in Palembang. However, no young man dared to propose to him, because his parents wanted him to marry the king's rich son.
One day, there came a king's son from China named Tan Bun Ann. The son of the King of China intends to stay for quite a long time in the country, because he wants to expand his business. As a migrant, Tan Bun Ann came to King Sriwijaya to inform him of the intention of his arrival in the country.
Tan Bun Ann asked permission from the King to be allowed to develop his business in the country, but the King gave him the conditions that he had to do which was to surrender a portion of his fortune to the King. Tan Bun Ann accepted King Sriwijaya's request. Since then, every week he goes to the palace to give up some of his profits. One time, he met Siti Fatimah in the palace. Since he first saw Siti Fatimah's face, Tan Bun Ann immediately fell in love. And vice versa, Siti Fatimah also put her heart in her. Finally, they have a relationship. Feeling compatible with Siti Fatimah, Tan Bun Ann intends to marry her.
One day, Tan Bun Ann met the King of Srivijaya to propose to Siti Fatimah. The King of Srivijaya will give him permission, but there are conditions that need to be done that is to provide nine jars of gold.
Without thinking, Tan Bun Ann was willing to fulfill those conditions.
Tan Bun Ann immediately sent someone to China to deliver a letter to his parents. After a while, the messenger returned with a reply letter to Tan Bun Ann. The reply letter from his parents contained the blessing of their marriage and at the same time an apology, because they could not attend their wedding. However, as a sign of affection for him, his parents sent nine jars of gold. For the safety and security of the jars containing gold from pirates, they covered it with mustard greens without the knowledge of Tan Bun Ann.
When he found out that some of the people he was told had returned, Tan Bun Ann and Siti Fatimah and their families immediately left for the pier at the Musi River Estuary to check the contents of the nine jars. On arrival at the dock, Tan Bun Ann immediately ordered to show the jars.
After the envoy took out the nine jars from the ship's room, Tan Bun Ann immediately checked the contents one by one. How surprised he was after seeing the jar was only filled with vegetable mustard which had rot.
Tan Bun Ann was embarrassed to be seen by Raja and Siti Fatimah. Hopefully, Tan Bun Ann immediately opened another jar. However, after opening the jars, it turns out that they all contain vegetable mustard which has rot. Increasingly disappointed the son of the King of China. Disappointed, he immediately threw the jars to the Musi River one by one without checking them first. When he wanted to throw the last jar to the river, his legs suddenly tripped so that the urn fell to the floor of the ship and broke. How shocked he was when he saw the gold bars coming out of the jar. It turns out that under the rotting mustard, gold bullion is stored. He and a bodyguard immediately entered the Musi River to collect the jars containing the gold.
Seeing this, Siti Fatimah immediately ran to the edge of the ship to see the condition of her future husband. Anxiously, he waited for his future husband to appear on the surface of the river. Because the person he loved so much did not appear, finally Siti Fatimah along with her loyal servants came into the river to look for the prince from China. Before he entered the river, he advised the person on the boat.
"If there is a pile of land on the banks of the river, that means it's my grave," Siti Fatimah said.
A few days after the incident, a pile of land emerged on the banks of the Musi River. The longer the pile becomes an island. Local people call it Pulo Kemaro. Pulo Kemaro in Indonesian means Pulau Kemarau. So named, because the island has never been flooded even though the volume of water in the Musi River is increasing.

Finished.

Okay, the legend of Pulo Kemaro is over. I hope can useful for the readers.

The legend of "Crying Stone"

Assalamu'alaikum Wr. Wb.

Hello everyone..
In this my blog I want post a legend is famous. If you want to know. Let's read yes!

On a hill located far from the village, precisely in the area of Kalimantan has a family life consisting of a widow and her daughter. the widow's child was very beautiful. But he has such a bad character. The girl, very lazy, never helped her mother to do various homework. Every working day is just dressing up.

Not only lazy, the girl has a very spoiled attitude. All requests must always be obeyed, every time the girl asks for something to be immediately granted by the mother, without ever caring about the condition of the mother who is so poor, even every day she has to work hard to support her family.
Someday, the girl is invited by the mother to shop in the village. Where the market is in the village is very far away, so they have to take a tiring foot trip. The girl wore good clothes and dressed up so that everyone she met later admired her beauty.

While her mother walked behind carrying a basket, she only wore dirty clothes, because they both lived in a remote place, so no one recognized that they were their children and mother.

When they arrived in the village, the people in the village looked at the two. They were very fascinated by the beauty of the girl, moreover the young people in the village were never satisfied to look at her beautiful face. However, when he saw a mother walking behind the girl, it was very contrasting. This certainly makes many people ask.

Then there was a young man who asked whether the one behind him was his mother, and the answer of the girl's child was not, even he replied that the one behind him was his maid.

So, all this time, his mother was only considered a servant. Initially, when he heard the answer his daughter was still able to hold back. However, over time, of course, this is very painful. Until finally the mother can't help herself.

He always prayed, that he was no longer strong enough to withstand all the insults of his biological child who had the heart and asked God to punish his lawless daughter. Until finally, with God's power, the body of the lawless girl slowly turned into a stone.

Where the change begins from his feet. When the change reaches half the body, the girl cries and asks for forgiveness from her mother.

He continued to apologize to his mother for his attitude that he had done so far. He continued to cry and lamented himself as a stone, but everything was certainly too late. Where the whole body has finally changed to become stone.

Although it becomes stone, but people can still see the girl's two eyes still crying. Therefore, the stone is known as the "crying stone" which originated from the cry of the lawless girl against her mother.

Throughout the journey Ki Lengser thought hard, to save Dewi Naganingrum's life, because he was sure all the events that happened were the result of engineering. Arriving in a wilderness, Ki finally stopped and asked Dewi Naganingrum to come down.
He made a hut or a small house for his residence for Dewi Naganingrum, with all its amenities, although very simple. After feeling enough to advise Dewi Naganingrum, Ki Lengser promised to visit him even though he could not promise how often and for how long. Dewi Naganingrum in her heart hoped that one day he would meet his true son, and be able to return to live at Galuh Palace with his family. After everything was finished Ki Lengser came home and returned to the palace of Galuh to report to the king that his task of killing Dewi Naganingrum had been completed properly. And for the proof Ki Lengser has wet his weapon with the blood of game animals in the forest. So that it appears on the weapon dry blood lines.
While in other places, in a village called Gegersunten village there lived a couple who were quite old. But they don't have children. They are named Aki and Nini Balangantrang. One afternoon both of them went to Citanduy's side to look at the fish traps they had installed since morning. How shocked they were when they arrived at the place putting fish traps, there they found a large basket containing a baby boy who was very cute and handsome, maybe this is the answer to the prayer they had been praying so tirelessly. A chicken egg that was included with the baby was sent by Aki Balangantrang to a dragon named Nagawiru and was on Mount Padang. This dragon is not a dragon carelessly but is the incarnation of a god, and it is his duty to incubate an egg that is included with the baby of Barma Wijaya Kusumah's son. Later, the egg will incubate a rooster and become a pet and a favorite of the child who is washed away.
Time passed, without feeling the baby had grown up now, handsome and beautiful, apparently. With full diligence and patience, Aki and Nini Balangantrang passed on all the magic they possessed to their adopted children. One day Aki Balangantrang again invited his son to hunt in the forest around their residence. Arriving at the forest, Aki Balangantrang's adopted son saw a monkey that he considered strange because he had just seen it, the monkey was named Wanara, he also saw a bird he had just met, the bird named Ciung. Both of them agreed, the names of the two animals were used as the names of their children. So he was named Ciung Wanara.
Now Ciung Wanara has grown into a young man. He wants to go to Galuh Kingdom. Depart Ciung Wanara to the Kingdom of Galuh with a favorite rooster. Arriving at the Kingdom of Galuh, Ciung Wanara met two people named Purawesi and Puragading. The two courtiers were curious to see Ciung Wanara, who was carrying a rooster, finally the two approached and invited a match with their respective chickens. Ciung Wanara did not reject the invitation of the two men, so there was a cockfighting match in the middle of the square of the city of the Kingdom of Galuh. Good fortune sided with Ciung Wanara, his favorite cock won the match and the two patih's chickens lost to death.
The victory of Ciung Wanara's chicken immediately spread and was heard up to the Kingdom of Galuh. That in the city there is a handsome young man named Ciung Wanara who has a formidable rooster. Destiny has brought together father and son who have been separated by the evil slander of Dewi Pangrenyep.
After getting enough explanation from the young man, the King Barma Wijaya Kusumah continued his intention to invite a cockfighting match with Ciung Wanara. And the invitation was welcomed by Ciung Wanara. Both agreed, if Ciung Wanara became the winner in the cockfight, then half of Galuh's kingdom would be given to Ciung Wanara and Ciung Wanara to be recognized as his children. Ciung Wanara will be appointed as a legitimate king. But on the contrary, if Ciung Wanara loses in the cockfighting match, Ciung Wanara's life is at stake, he will be sentenced to death as proof of his defeat.
And cockfighting took place immediately with excitement, at first Ciung Wanara's chicken seemed defeated and pressed. At the critical moment, Nagawiru came and entered the body of Ciung Wanara's chicken body. The chicken quickly becomes fresh and strong again. Ciung Wanara immediately returned to bring the chicken that had been bathed and the match continued. This time thanks to the power of Nagawiru in the chicken body belonging to Ciung Wanara, easily and quickly the chicken owned by Prabu Barma Wijaya Kusumah began to lose and was pressed. Even the chickens often run scared out of the arena. Ciung Wanara again won the cockfighting match. In accordance with Prabu's agreement Barma Wijaya Kusumah fulfilled his promise and acknowledged Ciung Wanara as his legitimate son, and the Kingdom of Galuh was divided by the King, the other half was given to Hariangbanga and was appointed as king in his place. All the secrets of the life of Ciung Wanara are open and all mistakes made by Dewi Pangrenyep are revealed by themselves. After Ki Lengser told that his mother Dewi Naganingrum was still there and was alienated in a forest. Ciung Wanara was very happy and immediately picked up her mother. Likewise, the two adoptive parents Aki and Niini Balangantrang also stayed in the Kingdom. Now Ciung Wanara has become a king.
Meanwhile Dewi Pangrenyep began to worry after knowing that Ciung Wanara was a baby child he had thrown away. Until finally his anxiety and concern were immediately answered and realized. Prabu Ciung Wanara after knowing what Dewi Pangrenyep had done to his mother and himself, then immediately formed a special force to arrest Dewi Pangrenyep. Dewi Pangrenyep was immediately caught and thrown into the palace prison to make up for all her crimes and atrocities.
While Raden Hariangbanga was shocked to learn that his beloved mother had been captured by King Ciung Wanara's army and put in prison. A fierce battle continues and Raden Hariangbanga must accept defeat.
According to the words circulating in the Pasundan Tatar community, because they were defeated in the battle of King Hariangbanga's body thrown by Ciung Wanara to cross the Cipamali river, since then the Kingdom of Galuh was really divided into two.

END.
