The legend of "Roro Jonggrang Temple"

Hello everyone.. 

I will post new legend in my blog,  maybe many people already know this legend, if never read. Let's read now. 

In ancient times there was a large kingdom called Prambanan. The people are peaceful. One day when the kingdom of Prambanan was attacked and colonized by the Pengging country, the soldiers were unable to face the attack of the Pengging forces. Finally, the Prambanan kingdom was controlled by Pengging, and was led by Bandung Bondowoso.

King Bandung Bondowoso is a cruel. Bandung Bondowoso is a person who is powerful and has a genie army, Bandung Bondowoso likes to observe Roro Jonggrang, the beautiful daughter of King Prambanan.

The next day, Bandung Bondowoso approached Roro Jonggrang and asked Roro Jonggrang "ould you be my wife?"

Hearing that, Roro Jonggrang became confused. If he refused, Bandung Bondowoso would be furious and endanger his family and the people of Prambanan. But it is also impossible if Roro Jonggrang accepts it, because he does not like Bandung Bondowoso.

Finally, Roro Jonggrang got the idea. "I am willing to be Mr.'s wife, but there are conditions," he said. "What are the conditions? Want abundant assets? Or a magnificent palace? " "That's not it, my lord, said Roro Jonggrang. I ask a temple, the total must one thousands. "A thousand pieces?" Bondowoso shouted. "Yes, and the temple must be finished overnight." Bandung Bondowoso looked at Roro Jonggrang, his lips trembling with anger. Since then Bandung Bondowoso has been thinking about how to make 1,000 temples. Finally he asked his advisor. "I believe my master can make the temple with the help of Jin!", Said the advisor. "Yes, your proposal is correct, prepare the equipment I need!"

After the equipment is prepared. Bandung Bondowoso stands in front of the rock. His arms were spread wide. "Jinn troops, help me!" He shouted in a booming voice. Not long after, the sky darkened. A moment later, the Jinn troops had gathered around Bandung Bondowoso. "What should we do, sir?" Asked the genie leader. "Help me build a thousand temples," Bandung Bondowoso demanded. The jins immediately carry out their respective duties. In a short period of time the building of the temple has been arranged almost reaching a thousand pieces.

Meanwhile, Roro Jonggrang observed from a distance. He was worried, knowing Bondowoso was assisted by Jinn troops. Roro Jonggrang is looking for a way. The royal servants were told to gather and were tasked with collecting straw. "Quickly burn all the straw!" Ordered Roro Jonggrang. Some of the other servants were told to pound the mortar. Dung ... dung ... dung!

"Wow, the sun will come out soon!" Said Jin. "We must leave immediately before our bodies are burned by the sun," said another genie. The genies began to leave the place.

The next morning, Bandung Bondowoso invited Roro Jonggrang to the temple site. "The temple you requested has stood!" Roro Jonggrang immediately counted the number of temples. It turns out that there are only 999! "The number is less than one! Roro Jonggrang said. "Means the master has failed to fulfill the conditions that I submitted." Bandung Bondowoso was surprised to find out the shortcomings. Bandung Bondowoso does not believe. "It's impossible ...", said Bondowoso, staring sharply at Roro Jonggrang. "Then you just complete it!" He said, pointing his finger at Roro Jonggrang. Suddenly Roro Jonggrang immediately turned into a stone statue. Until now these temples still exist and are located in the Prambanan region, Central Java and are called the Roro Jonggrang Temple.
